Our restaurant and bar are Open to the Public Tues-Sunday!

The Restaurant is open every Tues-Friday from 4 until 10pm, and on Saturdays & Sundays we open at 2pm.

Come on in and join us for great food, fun and beautiful sunsets!

The Tiki is now open for the season Tues-Friday at 4 then on Sat/SUN at 2pm. Weather and Entertainment events may impact these times so stay tuned for more updates!

All facilities Closed to the public on "member mondays!"

Who We Are

A Nonprofit Veteran Support Organization

Hurricane Sally significantly damaged our main building affecting our day-to-day operations, we reviewed our options going forward that would enable us to remain viable in our core mission of supporting veterans. Our membership elected to fully reconstruct the building to enable the utilization of all three floors. In doing so, this preserves an iconic historical building, continues providing and increasing the services to veterans, their families, and the community for generations to come.

Have you tried the new expanded menu at American Legion Post 199? We tried the fresh catch which was a whole flounder fried and topped with crawfish Etouffee!  Delicious!! Can’t wait to try the other new menu options!!

I almost don’t want to leave this review so I can keep it a hidden gem! 💎  Shaman and Dallas were such nice individuals and they really made me feel like I belonged to a family. The food really hit the spot and don’t get me started on the sunset!! 🌅

We even have been able to catch the Wednesday prime rib, which was out of this world! We just ate there this past Friday with my wife and another couple. The Legion is doing everything right but we would like to encourage them to add a little bit more dishes to the menu. We noticed it was a little slow. Thought maybe if they added some more dishes to the menu and change the menu, they would have a little bit more traffic on Friday evening.
