Weekend Schedule

Nov. 14th, 15th

and 16th!!!

Legion Family,

We had a truly special and memorable week at Post 199.

We began with our General Membership Meeting on Thursday at 6:30 PM, where we recognized several outstanding volunteers, discussed upcoming projects, volunteer opportunities, and continued strengthening our presence in the community.

On Saturday, we proudly participated in the Fairhope Veterans Day Parade, followed by the Gumbo Festival. It was a great day of fellowship, community support, and welcoming our friends and neighbors to the Post grounds.

Most importantly, we shared in a very meaningful moment as we celebrated and honored our own Frank McArdle, who was officially inducted as Fairhope’s Veteran of the Year. Frank’s dedication, leadership, and service to veterans and our community are extraordinary, and we were proud to stand with him in this well-deserved recognition.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, helped, volunteered, and represented Post 199 with pride and unity. Together, we continue to build momentum and strengthen our mission.

For God and Country,

American Legion Post 199 Leadership

I would like to thank all of our Staff and Volunteers

for the long hours and hard work

you all have been doing

and will continue to do

to make OUR post a success.

REMEMBER!

The Matching Fund, and Former Rank Challenge,

are on-going efforts for much needed donations to help offset costs and debt relief of construction of our New Phase-1 Bldg.:

so push it out to everyone you know!

…The net goal is not just for our building to be paid off,

but for all that we do to support veterans,

youth and the community

by having a building from which to operate

and host programs.

Thank You!

Dale Taylor
